Kevin Swaney’s Tin Indian Performance Rear Engine Dragster is a very unique member of The Fastest . Pontiacs . Ever. Swaney’s car was a member of the Elite 10 since running his record setting pass of 6.81 in 2010 up until 2016 as a naturally aspirated car. For those not familiar with the term, naturally aspirated (NA) means that this car has NO power adder. NO blower, NO turbo, NO NO2! This was the ONLY Elite 10 car without a power adder! A very impressive feat!
He currently sits atop the TOP 10 NA list in the #1 position which he has held since September 2007 when the top time was 7.37 @ 179 mph. Swaney’s TIP dragster is credited with being the first NA powered Pontiac race car to break the 6 second barrier. You can view Kevin’s record setting 6.81 pass @ 192.28 mph below!
